Kroger $1 Deal on Special K Cereal Bars, Milk, Eggs & Bread

All For $1.00 after MIR

Of course we all know how much my Special K cereal bars are BIG in the SWCC family (as shown HERE today and HERE yesterday). So on the way home from my daughter's basketball game last night I stopped and took advantage of the Kroger deal when you buy 3 kellogg' s participating breakfast items. My children drink organic milk (per my pediatrician's suggestion) and wheat bread, but my husband and I drink regular 2% milk and white bread is fine, especially when it is FREE!

Special K cereal Bars - 3/$7.00
When you buy 3 you can get for FREE a $7.77 value:

• 1 dozen Kroger eggs
• 1 Gallon Kroger milk
• Kroger bread
• Kroger gravy (I passed on that)

So....

6 boxes of Special K cereal bars - 3/$7.00

Final Cost = $11.00, but earned the following and will send off for $10 MIR

• 2 Free gallons Kroger milk
• 2 dozen Kroger eggs

What is great about this deal is that send 5 Special K tokens and official order form printed inside the box of specially marked Special K cereal bar packages to receive a $10 voucher you can use toward the purchase of a new pair of jeans. I have been told that this $10 is in the form of a check that "CAN" be used to buy a slimmer pair of jeans or anything else. We will see. If so, then that after the MIR you will have spent $1.00 for 6 boxes of cereal bars, 2 gallons of milk, 2 dozen eggs and 2 loaves of bread. That's a pretty cheap breakfast for days!

I just had a few minutes and when I was checking out I remember the pillsbury deal going on right now at Krogers so I went and grabbed 3 biscuits. What was great is that there was a blinkie right there with $1.00/3 pillsbury products. The small pillsbury grands jr. golden layers are on sale for $0.99. So I took 7 blinkies and did these transactions.

Kroger has some pretty good staple FREEBIES and more deals going on this week. My family is full of big meat eaters and they really wanted steak for dinner and bacon and eggs for breakfast so today's run covered all that! My bill will be a bit more than others b/c I do buy organic milk (could not get coupon to print!) and I also bought tenderloin (pricier than other meats) and deli lunch meat (pricier) which had coupons, but are still high price items. Here are a few of this week's deals I snagged and a few others. There are alot of items on closeout this week too so keep your eyes open in the cereal aisle!

Before you head out make sure you load your e-coupons for FREE to your Kroger card from the following sites: Bringing Hope, Cellfire, PGesaver, and Shortcuts . Also, make sure you register your Kroger loyalty card to recieve special coupons and mailers. My Kroger doubles coupons up to $0.50 and triples coupons up to $0.39. They only accept up to 3 of the same coupon.

Bringing Hope to the Table and Savings to Your Pocket Through Your Loyalty Card

I just uploaded $24.00 worth of savings to my Kroger's card through a new e-coupon campaign Kroger is conducting called Bringing Hope to the Table. The goal of this campaign is to donate $3 million in cash and $1 million in food to local food banks across the nation. Kroger Deals and Wine Tags Make For FREE Steak Seasonings

So where do savvy savers find coupons? Sometimes in the most unusual places like on WINE BOTTLES! These are called Wine Tags and a lot of times there can be very high value coupons attached. Take for instance, today my kids really wanted steak for dinner so I headed on over to Kroger. On the way I could see from a mile away a wine tag hanging on a Sutter Home wine bottle. Senior Citizens and Kroger Senior Loyalty Card = SAVINGS!!

Yesterday, while I was at Kroger getting my Freebies and other groceries that I posted HERE, I waited in line behind an elderly woman. As she checked out, I noticed on the cashier screen that she had a lot of 10% discounts. I asked what are all these 10 discounts for? The cashier said, "Senior Citizens get 10% off on Kroger/Private Selection brands" REALLY!!!

I called customer service and she asked for my zip code. In my area if you are 59 or older, all you need to do is sign up for your Kroger card, show proof of age and your card will be programmed/labeled as a Senior Card. You are then able to receive 10% of any Kroger/Private Selection item excluding a few: fresh meat, bakery items, cards, prescriptions and money orders.

Age Requirements vary by zip code so you will need ask you customer service desk or call 1-800-KROGERS to find out what it is in your area.

I had $14 in catalinas from the living well promotion and needed to some meat and had a headsup on a good deal from Zoey's Mom. Unfortunately, my Randall's meat was still priced $2.99/lb., but had the promotion sign on the case stating $1.99. When I asked the butcher where it was she said that the display was mismarked and that promo ended on the 9th. Since it was still marked $1.99/lb. she gave me the remaining 3 packages (11lb. total) for $1.99/lb.
