Save Money $$$ on your Electric Bill

Spring is near and summer is coming soon so it's time for those electric bills to start creeping up. My friend and I were walking this morning and she told me how astronomical her electric bill was last month. She made one quick phone call to her local retail energy provider and found out that her average price per kWh(1,000 kWh) was 23¢!!!!!! After telling them that she was going to switch providers they lowered her average price to 11¢!!!!!!!! It was that simple.

To make it more simple, in Texas you can click on http://www.powertochoose.org/ and shop your options and BEGIN SAVING AT THE CLICK OF A BUTTON. Electric choice gives you options. You can choose an offer based on price, contract term and other requirements, green/renewable options or other factors important to you. http://www.powertochoose.org/ can help you narrow down your choices and ask the right questions of each company so that you can make an apples-to-apples comparison.

Prices for retail electric providers fluctuate so please inquire on-line or call customer service for a quote in your area. Here is an example of a quote I got today from my retail electric provider
