Saved $43.33This is an example of how you can get to your $5 off $25 coupon total with some easy add ins. My daughter pleaded with me to buy her some Apple Jacks. After I saw the Neosporin lip deal at commonsense, I thought what a great way to use the $5/$25 CVS coupon you can get HERE and have $10.78 worth of free products to get you closer to your $25 total. But it gets even better.
When you go into CVS scan your CVS card at the Coupon Center machine. Sometimes it will print out $2 off 2 Gold Emblem Nuts and $2 of $10 worth of CVS products. It did today!
So
2 Gold Emblem Nuts -.99/each
- $2 CVS CRT
Final Cost = FREE plus .02 overage
For the CVS products I found TONS of CVS product in the 75% clearance section (battery adapters, anti aging cream, wipes, etc.)
5 CVS Aftersun wipes - $2.39 on sale .59/each
-$2 off $10 worth of CVS products (it goes off the original price - $11.95 total)
Final Cost = $0.95, but $2.95 to get me closer to $5 off $25
It's a lot easier to reach that $25 mark if you combine the CVS sales with manufacturer & store coupons and really start saving!

Wow, thank you for this post, I didn't realize that the $2/$10 CVS Q counted the original price instead of the discounted price as counting toward the $10!! But do the $3/$15 and $5/$25 Q's work this way also on non-CVS products?
ReplyDeleteI have several $3/$15 CRT's I need to use. It seems the store gives me a new one every day I scan my card there!
Can 2 of the $2/$10 CRTs be used in one transaction if $20 worth of products were bought? If so I was thinking this could be a possibility next week on the Planters Nuts (using the $1 MQ from the coupon sheet at Randall's recently posted about on Katy Couponers):

The $5 off $25 has to be what the product rings up for ($.59) The $2 off $10 says "$2 off $10 WORTH of CVS products" so I do not think the scenario would work for scenario 1, but the scenario would work for scenario #2. Be careful on the $2CRT for nuts. Sometimes it says $2 off 2 and sometimes it says $1 off 2.
